Southern Hills Church has been committed since its inception to financially and prayerfully supporting gospel partners both locally and globally. A portion of all donations received go to fund the work of Jesus Christ both here in our city and abroad, and those within our church family give financially to specific partners regularly and groups schedule time to serve with these charitable organizations.

Akeem & Jaime Smith
Storyline Church | Oakland, California
Akeem Smith was saved in the student ministry at Southern Hills. After graduation, he attended seminary where he met his wife Jaime. They were married a few years following their graduation in 2016. They served together at Southern Hills and then were ordained and sent out through Southern Hills and SEND Network, launching Storyline Church in Oakland, California in September 2019. God has added 2 precious children to their family and has increased the reach of Storyline Church beyond East Bay and Oakland and continues to bless them as they seek to follow the mission of making disciples for Jesus Christ.
Brandon & Kate Snook
Medical Missions | Togo, West Africa
Brandon and Kate Snook were charter members of Southern Hills Church. Brandon served as a surgeon for the USAF and was an admired doctor at University Medical Center in Las Vegas while also leading and serving in the church plant of SHC. Kate was a nurse in the Navy and together they never lost the desire that God placed on their hearts for medical missions from the earliest days of moving to Las Vegas. During their time in Las Vegas, God added five children to their family: Caydon, Anneka, Gwen, Izzy, and Elliott. Together their family was commissioned by Southern Hills and ABWE Missions to go to Togo to serve in the medical missions there in 2024.
