Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience designed to help you connect with God, the church, and your purpose. Through weekly gatherings, personal Scripture reading, prayer, group discussion, and hands-on experiences like serving and sharing your story, Rooted moves beyond a typical Bible study into a life-changing journey of spiritual growth and community. Rooted is built on core rhythms of discipleship—such as daily devotion, prayer, worship, generosity, and service—that help participants deepen their faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out their faith in everyday life. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking to go deeper in your walk with Jesus, Rooted offers a supportive space to grow as a disciple in community.

THE ROOTED EXPERIENCE
Q: When does Rooted happen?
A: Rooted runs on Wednesdays or Thursdays consecutively from
6:30 - 8:00 pm.
Q: Is there a fee to attend?
A: The cost for the banquet and workbook needed for Rooted is $35. Of course, if you are unable to cover this cost, please speak with of our pastors so that we can see how we can assist you. Otherwise, use the link above to register!
Q: Is there childcare?
A: Yes! There is childcare provided for
children ages 0-12.
Q: Can teenagers attend?
A: Yes, teens ages 13 and above are
welcome to join Rooted!
Q: Do I have to attend Southern Hills Church to attend Rooted?
A: No! Rooted is for anyone looking into faith and how a life with Jesus is lived out! However, if you do not currently attend Southern Hills we ask that you attend the Alpha Experience before Rooted.
Q: Can I join if I missed the first session?
A: The Rooted curriculum is set up with intention in building a great foundation for your faith. With that in mind, it is important to attend the sessions consecutively. If you miss more than two weeks, no worries, you can jump back in on the next Rooted Experience.
Q: Do I need to prepare anything?
A: Yes! Your Rooted workbook has 5 days of reading and reflection in preparation for your group time. Each devotional takes around 15 minutes to complete.
